Completion of bachelor's degree in Social Work. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years' experience working as a registered Social Worker. Minimum of 5 years' recent experience working with at risk families providing interventions and support around intrinsic needs. Experience with community resources and supporting clients in applying for community supports. Experience working in a community setting with equity deserving populations. Experience in working from a trauma informed lens. Demonstrated ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures using a supportive, non-judgmental approach. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with various community partners. Demonstrated ability to function in a collaborative interdisciplinary environment. Demonstrated ability to use Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and overall computer literacy required
Preferred Qualifications:Experience working in a primary care setting. Experience working with interdisciplinary team. Experience with adult education and group facilitation. Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability within a complex and rapidly changing environment and may involve working with clients who present with criminal or suicidal tendencies; potential exposure to violence and aggression.
