Completion of a certificate from an accredited Dental Assisting Program. Active or eligible for registration with the College of Alberta Dental Assistants (CADA).
Additional Required Qualifications:2 years’ experience in a public dental clinic setting. Keyboarding / data entry skills. Customer relations and telephone skills essential. Team work outstanding skills. Good interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written). Dental and medical knowledge and terminology. Ability to perform tasks with frequent interruptions. Effective organizational and prioritization skills.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with “Power Practice” Dental management software.
