Completion of doctoral degree in Psychology in an applied area relevant to the practice setting from a Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) or American Psychological Association (APA) program. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Active or eligible for registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Graduation, or pending graduation from an accredited PhD program in Clinical or Counseling Psychology with an approved internship Registration, or provisional status with the College of Alberta Psychologists Experience working with chronic pain patients Experience working with an interdisciplinary team Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills Able to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:Demonstrated skills in group facilitation Experience coordinating and facilitating therapeutic groups Experience working with young adults living with chronic pain Experience in research and program development
