Required Qualifications:

Completion of diploma in Medical Radiation Technology. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT). Completion of the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) certification. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Member in good standing with CAMRT or ACMDTT/other provincial licensing bodies. Minimum of 5 years previous mammography experience. Minimum of 2 years management experience. Must possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license. Must be able to lift supplies of at least 25 pounds up a set of stairs. Proven experience working successfully within a multi-disciplinary team. Proven experience in quality control of mammography images and equipment. Should exhibit strong interpersonal and leadership skills, ability to motivate others, clear and effective communication, critical thinking and decision making.

Preferred Qualifications:

Post graduate course(s) in mammography (e.g., CAMRT Mammo I and Mammo II). Specialty Certificate in Breast Imaging. Knowledge and understanding of CPSA and CAR-MAP Accreditation. Proven experience in conflict management, concerns resolution and performance management. Knowledge and understanding of the HSAA Collective Agreement, with ability to apply it to everyday situations. Management experience within a unionized environment or equivalent. Experience working in a mobile environment.
