The Chronic Disease Management Holter Monitor unit in Brooks is looking to add a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works as a member of an interprofessional health care team, collaborating on the delivery of care to meet the needs of patients. In this technical position you will provide a broad range of services including non-invasive cardiac testing procedures to investigate cardiac abnormalities and level of function. Utilizing your strong interpersonal and communication skills, you will be responsible for the performance of cardiac tests, including Holter monitoring and graded exercise stress testing, computer functions including test order entry, result inquiry and report printing. Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Experience working in a Primary Care or Acute Care setting in the last 3 years.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with clinical electronic devices and Connect Care. Knowledge of cardiac testing and Holter monitor.
