Required Qualifications:

Degree or diploma in information management, information systems, health informatics, business systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience investigating and analyzing complex operational systems or platforms, including working with system configurations, data structures, and/or integrations. Experience interpreting entity relationship diagrams (ERDs), relational data models, or comparable system representations. Experience identifying and resolving inconsistencies within data structures, system configurations, or data relationships. Experience defining or standardizing data elements, business terms, or data definitions within an operational environment. Experience assessing or supporting system changes where user or business requirements must align with technical constraints. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, demonstrated through experience working with complex or ambiguous system and data issues.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Experience collaborating with technical teams, business stakeholders, and/or external vendors to support systems change or issue resolution. Strong written documentation skills, including experience producing clear technical or operational documentation. Experience maintaining or contributing to data dictionaries, metadata repositories, or system documentation. Familiarity with access control models (e.g., role-based access) and their implementation within systems or applications. Experience supporting content management systems (CMS) or similar platforms. Working knowledge of how front-end applications consume data from external platforms, including scenarios where data is supplied through APIs managed by system owners or third-party vendors. Working knowledge of how front-end applications interact with back-end systems (e.g., APIs, CMS-driven content, or data services). Experience working across multiple teams or functions to support alignment between system behavior, data structures, and business processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with legacy systems where documentation is incomplete or system behaviour must be inferred through analysis. Experience with data governance or metadata practices (e.g., defining data meaning, documenting structures, supporting cataloging efforts). Exposure to analytics or reporting environments for context on how operational data is consumed downstream (no development required). Experience in healthcare, public sector, or other regulated environments.
