A Master’s degree in Health, Business, Policy or Social Sciences; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Active registration for those eligible under the Health Professions Act. Experience working with Indigenous peoples in a variety of health settings. Strong understanding of cultural safety and anti-racist practices, knowledge of Indigenous histories, trauma-informed practice, and clinical skills. Extensive Addiction and Mental Health clinical expertise through experience in a variety of settings (e.g., acute, community, crisis), to provide full breadth of clinical support to staff. Experience managing unionized staff; understanding of collective agreements. Knowledge of Addiction and Mental Health practice standards. Knowledge of Patient Relations concerns resolution processes. Minimum of 3-5 years demonstrated leadership experience. Experience in recruitment, training, coaching and performance management required. Strong technical skills are required and comfort using multiple electronic platforms.

General understanding of urban and rural mental health resources, programs, and services. Previous contact centre experiences an asset. Ability to apply principles of Addiction and Mental Health assessment with principles of teletriage. Working knowledge of Federal and Provincial Health Agency systems, policies and processes, including grant administration. Demonstrated ability to lead and work collaboratively on a multi-disciplinary team.
