STI Services has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Manager, Partner Notification, to join our team in support of Edmonton and Central zones within Primary Care Alberta (PCA). In this leadership opportunity you would be responsible and accountable for providing direction, team leadership and organization over the activities of the Partner Notification Nurses. Your ability and comfort with decision making responsibilities, coaching and teaching, and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others will help you in this role with your support of the vision, mission and business plan of PCA. Here you would be accountable for making unit-level decisions and having direct leadership responsibility for contributing to the achievement of the goals of the STI program within the Communicable Disease Control portfolio, managing change and performing quality improvement. Utilizing your strong communication and organizational skills you have the ability to foster a climate of cooperation amongst, and build solid relationships with public agencies, government, committees and other partners. Leveraging your experience managing human, financial and physical resources within an operating environment, you have an ability to foster partnerships and to achieve organizational goals within an organization and ideally managing within a unionized sector. Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing and current registration with CRNA. Five years of experience, in the last seven years, working in public health ideally in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity. Minimum of two years' experience, in the last four years, working in an operational manager or leadership role in a complex healthcare environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in nursing (or equivalent). Alberta Improvement Way (AIW) certification. Minimum two years within the past four years’ experience in an STI or Sexual Health clinic setting. Experience documenting electronic health records, including Microsoft Office programs. Experience with Indigenous and rural communities, outreach work and harm reduction. Experience supervising a remote/hybrid team.
