Your Opportunity:
Primary Care Alberta is seeking an Administrative Support IV to support the Alberta Find a Provider program. In this role, you will manage incoming requests, maintain data accuracy, and contribute to consistent program operations within a structured team environment. You will monitor shared intake channels, including a centralized inbox and online submission forms, and respond to requests using established templates, processes, and escalation pathways. This work requires you to manage a steady volume of requests while ensuring responses are timely, accurate, and consistent. You will also contribute to maintaining provider and clinic information by completing routine updates and supporting structured data quality activities. This includes contacting external stakeholders by phone and email to verify and confirm information as part of ongoing validation efforts. In addition, you will provide general administrative and coordination support to the team, helping to maintain organized documentation, support day-to-day operations, and assist with a range of ad hoc tasks. This role is well suited to someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working within defined processes involving large volumes of information. You take pride in producing accurate work, managing your time effectively, and contributing to a team that depends on consistency and reliability.

Ability to manage a steady volume of work, including both daily operational tasks and periodic cyclical activities. Effective written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and consistent responses. Strong verbal communication skills for conducting professional outreach with external stakeholders. Ability to prioritize work, stay organized, and maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work with large volumes of information while ensuring completeness and accuracy of records. Ability to work independently within established guidelines while collaborating with team members as needed. Sound judgment in identifying when to escalate issues that fall outside defined processes.
Preferred Qualifications:Post-secondary education in business administration, office administration, or a related field (certificate, diploma, or degree). Experience working with directories or structured health information systems. Familiarity with data quality activities or audit processes. Knowledge of Alberta’s health system or primary care landscape.
