Your Opportunity:
Join a fast paced, multidisciplinary family medicine clinic where your ability to multi-task and prioritize will directly influence patient care daily. As an Admin Support IV/Medical Office Assistant, you are the hub of the clinic daily flow. This position combines hands on clinical support and administrative duties. In this role, you will support compassionate, patient facing support, assisting physicians with minor and complex office procedures and maintain exam room readiness to support efficient care. Take and document vital signs (BP, weight and height) in the Electronic Medical Record. Coordinate referrals and connect patients to appropriate programs and services across the city. Track and close the loop on patient care follow ups. Manage a task list that supports ongoing patient care and ensures timely completion of clinical and administrative tasks. Answering phones, booking appts.

Additional Required Qualifications:Completion of a recognized MOA (Medical Office Assistant) program. Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a family practice environment. Must be able to work at least 1-2 days per week, available for vacation coverage and call-in shifts. Demonstrated proficiency in community EMR systems. Proven ability to multitask, prioritize and maintain accuracy in busy environments. Excellent and professional communication, both verbal and written, with a proficiency in English.
Preferred Qualifications:Preference will be given to those with family practice experience. Advanced EMR skills, and especially Med Access. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and family practice workflows. Experience in assisting with medical office procedures and maintaining exam room standards.
